And that everyone's seemingly losing their innocence,
On their arched back, fingers pressed down
the grim hard reality, ready to make a dash.
Breakneck accusations, smashing walls of
facade, smirk at one's slightest hint of triumph.
This is a game only for the strongest of minds.
But the perplexity of the game accentuate when
feelings, emotions are brought into play.
We hack into their system under the pretense of not getting involved,
and turning them up like thieves to the cops if need be,
we'd do anything to save our own skin.
The best of the play boils down to whoever is
able to conceal his weakness, his true self
and to disconnect any trace of humanity in him.
What about innocence you say, so what about it?
Now what then happened to this non existing,
what we call, perfect sincerity,
in others that we fear so much now?
Have we all really come too far till we forget where we actually came from?
